Itinerary
Welcome to Kerala! Arrive at Kochi and embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. Known for its lush tea gardens, verdant hills, and tranquil atmosphere, Munnar is a haven of peace. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Today, explore the charming Tea Gardens of Munnar, where rolling hills are covered in vibrant green tea plantations. Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and process of tea production. Continue to Mattupetty Dam & Lake, where the still waters reflect the surrounding tea gardens, offering a perfect spot for a Speed Boat Ride. Head to Echo Point, renowned for its natural echo phenomenon, and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, known for its spice-scented plantations and rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, embark on a boat tour or jeep ride in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot various wildlife in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala, and a Kalaripayattu show, showcasing one of the world’s oldest martial arts. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
After checking out from the hotel, visit a local spice plantation to experience the aromatic world of Kerala’s spices. Proceed to Alleppey, famous for its serene backwaters and traditional houseboats. Enjoy a captivating Boat Ride through the backwaters, taking in the lush landscapes and tranquil waters. Check out from the hotel and head to Trivandrum, Kerala’s capital. Visit the Napier Museum, which houses a collection of historical artifacts including bronze idols and ancient ornaments. Explore the Trivandrum Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in India. Spend the evening relaxing at Kovalam Beach, one of Kerala’s most renowned beaches. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.
Start with a visit to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, known for its grandeur and architectural beauty. After breakfast, travel to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, situated on a rocky island, and the ancient Devi Kanyakumari Temple. Return to Trivandrum for an overnight stay.
