Itinerary
Upon arrival at Ahmedabad Airport at 10:00 am, you will be greeted and driven to Udaipur, famously known as the City of Lakes. Udaipur is the crowning jewel of Rajasthan, known for its stunning lakes, palaces, and rich cultural heritage. After checking in at your hotel, you'll have the opportunity to visit Lake Pichola, a picturesque lake framed by majestic mountains, grand forts, and magical palaces. The serene waters and the view of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir make it a sight to behold. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Start with the City Palace, an architectural marvel that rises from the bank of Lake Pichola. The palace is a grand icon of Udaipur, showcasing intricate peacock mosaics, courtyards, and a museum that displays artifacts from Rajasthan's royal past. Next, visit the Jagdish Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Jagannath, known for its beautifully carved pillars and statues. Later, explore Saheliyon Ki Bari, a majestic garden adorned with fountains, kiosks, marble elephants, and a delightful lotus pool. Today, explore the rich heritage of Jaipur, starting with the City Palace, an architectural masterpiece built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The palace is renowned for its magnificent pillars, intricate latticework, carved marble interiors, and inlaid ornamentations, making it a visual treat for visitors. Next, visit the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. Jaipur's Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five such observatories in India, constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
