Itinerary
Welcome to Ahmedabad, declared as India's first UNESCO World Heritage City. Known for its rich history and vibrant culture, Ahmedabad sets the stage for your journey. Proceed to Jamnagar, a coastal gem on the Gulf of Kutch. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.
Check out from the hotel and drive to Dwarka, located at the western tip of the Saurashtra peninsula. Begin your exploration at the Dwarkadheesh Temple, also known as Jagat Mandir, an ancient shrine with a history of over 2500 years. Next, visit Nageshwar Mahadev Temple, famous for its towering Shiva statue and serene gardens. Continue your journey to Bet Dwarka, a small island believed to be the residence of Lord Krishna. Return to Dwarka for an overnight stay.
Today, head to Porbandar, a coastal city renowned for the Sudama Temple, dedicated to Sudama, the childhood friend of Lord Krishna. After your visit, proceed to Somnath. Explore the sacred Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy the Light and Sound Show (subject to operation) before checking in for an overnight stay at Somnath.
Check out from the hotel and journey to Sasan Gir, famous for its Asiatic lions. Visit the Gir Interpretation Zone (Devaliya Park) for a Canter/Bus Safari (subject to availability). Later, head to Junagadh, a city nestled at the base of Mt Girnar. Take the Ropeway to Mount Girnar and visit the Ambaji Temple (subject to operation). Return to Junagadh for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to Vadodara, Gujarat's cultural capital. Situated on the banks of the Vishwamistri River, Vadodara offers a blend of historical charm and modernity. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Vadodara.
Visit the Laxmivilas Palace, an architectural marvel built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890, showcasing the grandeur of royal Baroda. After the visit, proceed to Ahmedabad. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the Airport/Railway Station. Your tour concludes with cherished memories of Gujarat's vibrant culture and historic landmarks.
